In the aftermath of President Museveni’s inauguration ceremony for Salaam Bank in Kololo, the Security Forces have issued a statement shedding light on the recent disturbances that occurred at the event.
Commenting about the incident, the SFC spokesperson, Maj Jimmy Omara said the soldier was only trying to save the situation which was going out of hand.
He explained that the launch of the bank went on well until President Museveni exited the grounds.
“The organisers had a separate plan of distributing food handouts to the Muslims who had turned up for Duwa prayers. Unfortunately, the organisers did not put in place strict and adequate measures once distribution started.
