In a heartrending plea for aid, two desperate families in Lira have reached out to law enforcement agencies in their quest to find their missing family members.
The cases of the disappearance of Wilson Ocen and John Bosco Odongo were on October, 2023 reported at Lira City Central police station by their sons Nuru Oyoo and Michael Oboke under SD Ref 17/17/10/2023 and 18/17/10/2023 respectively.
However it’s noted that Oboke , a reporter with Voice of Lango said while he was in the field he received a call from his father though he was too busy to reply to him he would call back later on .
Meanwhile after work he received the same call from his father but as he tried to call back the line was switched off.
“ Since that time I have tried to call but the phone is off and i haven’t heard from my father,”Oboke said.
