Former Archbishop Luke Orombi sent home following stroke

The retired Church of Uganda Archbishop Henry Luke Orombi was discharged from Nakasero Hospital yesterday after suffering uncontrolled vomiting on Monday at his home.

The cleric in his five minutes recorded a message and said…..”they haven’t found anything but they are suspecting it could have been a stoke coming and vowed to continue serving God.”

Earlier on Monday evening Luke Orombi testified he was unconscious as his health was deteriorating while at his home in Nebbi District.

He was later on airlifted to Kampala in the wee hours on Tuesday.

“ I didn’t know anything, I had no idea how I entered into the chopper till we landed at Kololo,”Orombi said during the interview.

However following the recording that circulated on media late Thursday evening, Orombi assured believers that he will successfully return home.

“ I am feeling a lot better and shall come back home. If you didn’t love me you would have prayed for me,” he said.

On 28,September,2022 Archbishop Orombi was appointed as the second chancellor of Muni University in Arya City a position he actually still serving.
