Alleged lesbian to spend another week behind bars
Following the recent article on the alleged lesbian head teacher Ms Lydia Mukoda the deputy teacher of PMM Girls School in Jinja City and her co lesbian partner Ms Martha Naigaga the police have added extra seven days to be served by these culprits in Kiriya prison.
They were accused on charges of gross indecency and they were remanded after appearing before the Jinja Grade one Magistrate Mr Yafesi Ochieng yesterday.
The duo are expected to spend more eight days in prison and will appear in court on March 14 to answer the charges.
However speaking to the media the police mouthpiece Mr Fred Enaga said they are trying to help them pin the accused on several cases including trafficking in persons and unnatural sexual practices.
“ The only person we got is a lady who was staying with the deputy head teacher as husband and wife although they are both females. We got sex toys , condoms in their home and inquiries are continuing,” Enanga said.
However Ms Naigaga a resident of Walukuba in Jinja accuses her alleged husband of negligence as well as cheating on her.
However thousands of Muslims in Uganda demonstrated condemning the act of homosexuality and during the the mark of Janani Luwumu day celebrations at Wii-Gweng village in Mucwini sub county, Kitgum district president Museveni emphasized that Uganda will not embrace homosexuality.
